Ms. Fletter G. Bracey humbly bowed to God’s will and peacefully and quietly entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 27, 2019, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina.
   
Born in Kershaw County, South Carolina, she accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Bingham Chapel AME Zion Church.  
   
Gene (Fetter) was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Lewis Bracey, Sr. and Fetter M. Bracey; a sister, Bernell Bracey and a brother, Lewis Bracey, Jr.
  
Gene leaves to cherish her memories and celebrate her homegoing her sisters, Lula M. Bracey and Minnie (Lucius) Carmichael both of Paterson, NJ, and Carrie Bracey and Ruth Bracey both of Westville, SC and Bobby (Ike) Fowler of Camden, SC; one niece; ten nephews; one sister-in-law, Barbara Bracey of Lancaster, SC; three aunts; one uncle; a very special friend, Bobby Joe McCain; her caregiver, Julie Moore and a host other relatives and friends.
