Calven Jackson

Mr. Calven Jackson was born on June 26, 1963, in Bishopville, South Carolina.  He was the son of the late Laurine Jackson and Otis Jackson.  He departed this life on Saturday,  December 8, 2018, at KershawHealth Medical Center.

He attended the public schools in Lee County, South Carolina.  Over the years, he was employed by CalmaineFoods and lastly by the Target Distribution Center.  

Calven was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Kershaw and Josielene Mason; one brother, L. D. Mason and one brother-in-law, D. W. Wilson.  

Calven leaves to cherish his memory are his wife, Rochella Jackson of Columbia, SC; three sons, Alonzo Greene, Calvin Greene and Brandon Greene all of Columbia, SC; one daughter, Angelique Jackson of Cassatt, SC; eight sisters, Annie (Rueben) Jackson of Columbia, SC, Frances Blyther of Bishopville, SC, Ethel Wilson, Argeree Cook, Dorothy Cook, Barbara Hawkins, Sarah Murray and Sandra Mason all of Hartsville, SC; seven brothers, Albertis (Rosann) Jackson, Otis Jackson, Andrew (Betty) Mason, Allen (Mary) Mason, Ronnie Mason, Herbert Mason and Julius (Kim) Mason all of Hartsville, SC; eight grandchildren; a loving and dedicated special friend, Mary Alice Horton and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and caring friends all of whom will miss him dearly.
