Mr. Edward Jones was born to the late James and Mary S. Jones, on June 10, 1941. He entered into eternal rest on October 13, 2018, at PruittHealth - Ridgeway Nursing Home, in Ridgeway, SC.
He received his early education in the public schools of Kershaw County. At the young age of twenty, he relocated to New York City, New York.
Mr. Jones was employed by Building Services 32BJ, as a maintenance worker for over forty years, in New York City, New York.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles, Charlie, Eddie Lee and James, Jr.; five sisters, Emma Johnson, Mary Carter, Hannah Mitchell, Selena Benjamin and Rebecca Bess.
