James Leroy Moore was born on October 28, 1951 to the late James (Jimmy) and Bina Keys-Moore. He departed this life for more heavenly beginnings on January 23, 2019 at KershawHealth Medical Center.
James graduated from Jackson High School in 1969 and went on to join the United States Army and proudly served his country.
He was preceded in death by the late Harriett M. Moore.
He lived a very rich life and to mourn him, he leaves behind an uncle, Lawrence (Jean) Moses of Camden, South Carolina; two brothers, Andrew (Margie) Moore and Marion (Fannie-Mae) Moore of Rembert, South Carolina; three daughters, Jacqueline Moore-Brown, Valerie J. Moore, and Lillian M. Johnson of Boykin, South Carolina; seven grandchildren, Tyree and Darnell Green, Trosheda L. Smith, Akeem Sanders, Dontrell, Jamein, and Jelani White; seven great-grands; Amare, Ayden, Amir, Jaxson and Karson Sanders. Javaris Jr and Ava Washington. James also leaves behind a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nephews.
