Mr. Ray H. Stuckey, son of Ollie Mae and Leroy Stuckey, was born on December 23, 1955. He entered blessed and eternal rest on Sunday, December 9, 2018, at Palmetto Health Baptist of Columbia, South Carolina, after an extended illness.
He was born and reared in Rembert, SC where he attended Ashwood Central High School. He loved playing baseball and watching westerns shows. He worked construction, Wallace James Construction.
Ray was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Stuckey; brothers, Lavern Stuckey and Herbert Stuckey; sister Sarah L. Jenkins and a child Cathy Williams.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory and celebrate his life are his mother, Ollie Mae B. Stuckey of Camden, SC; his wife, Shirley Floyd of Rembert, SC; one son, Steve Jackson of Columbia, SC; four sisters, Leila (Gerald) Gilbert of Dale, SC, Johnnie Mae (Albert) Stuckey, Frances (John) Ransom, and Debbie Stuckey of Rembert, SC; three brothers, Damon (Karen) Brooks of Bronx, NY, Ernest (Lurlene) McDaniel of Atlanta, GA and George Stuckey of Camden, SC; three sisters-in-law, Mary Hickman and Patricia Jackson of Rembert, SC and Elizabeth Ann Terry of Bruno, VA; three uncles, Alexander (Valarie) Couthen, McCormick, SC, John (Clara) Couthen and Arthur (Liz) Couthen of Lansing, MI; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
