Stanley Jermaine Thomas was born in Camden, SC on November 21, 1980, the son of the late Stanley E. Thomas and Claudette Rembert Thomas. He entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. He was the only child to this union and was preceded in death by his grand- parents Willie and Juliette Thomas and Arthur and Alta Mae Rembert.
Stanley, affectionately known as "Big Stan" was an avid fisherman and a warrior of kindness. He lived a wonderful life full of happiness, love, and joy. He was faithful to his parents, children, family and friends. He was a comedian in his own rights. To know "Big Stan" was to love him. He leaves a legacy of joyful memories. Stanley was educated in the public schools of Kershaw County and was a 1999 graduate of Camden High School. He received his Associate Degree from Central Carolina Technical School. He was employed with Clean Source in Columbia, SC.
Stanley received Christ at an early age and joined the Union Baptist Church where he was a member of the Sunbeam Coir and Boys of Harmony.
Stanley leaves his precious memories to his children, Damien and Alexandria, whom he loved dearly; his mother; four aunts, Shirley Butler, Ella Joyner, Barbara (Herbert) Fisher and Susan Keys; one uncle, Willie C. Thomas; an adopted brother, Marcus Rivers; two god-sisters, Rashika Bracey and Tia Campbell. His memory will also be cherished by a host of cousins, family members, friends and associates.
