Obituary

Frances Boykin was born to the late Thomas and Maggie Stoney Boykin, on April 3, 1945.  She entered into eternal life on Saturday, March 25, 2023.

She was educated  first at Sweet Home School then graduated from Jackson High School.  She was employed at Barnett Hospital in Paterson, New Jersey, for thirty-five years before retiring.  She was a member of the 1199 Union Workers for twenty-eight years. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Stars in Paterson, New Jersey for over 15 years before falling ill and returning to South Carolina. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Maggie Stoney Boykin; three brothers, Levy Boykin, Lieutenant Willie Boykin and Thomas Boykin and two sisters, Virginia Boykin and Leila B. McCall.
    
She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her homegoing, her son, Thomas (Noretta) Boykin; her two grandchildren, Tameer Boykin and Tareek Boykin; two great-grandchildren, Camari Boykin and Olivia Boykin; one sister, Grace (Jerry) Mitchell;  one sister-in-law, Delores Boykin and a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
