Mary Catherine Allison

Mary Catherine Sheehan‑Allison, 78, of Binghamton, NY, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026. Born June 9, 1948, she was one of three triplets and the daughter of the late George and Irene Sheehan. Known for her warm personality and loving spirit, Mary Catherine was a devoted wife, mother, sister, caregiver, and “Grandma Cathy” to her cherished grandchildren and great‑grandchildren.

A baptized member of the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall, she spent her adult life caring for her family and working in the nursing field across New York, Virginia, and South Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, and sisters.

She is survived by her sister, Theresa Rose Sheehan; her children, Patty Ann, Dennis, Dana, Peggy, Ulysses, and Julia, along with many grandchildren, great‑grandchildren, extended family, and lifelong friends.

A Memorial & Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at the House of Worship, 93 Riverside Drive, Binghamton, NY, with Pastor Frank Barnett officiating.
