Ms. Ruth A. Bracey humbly bowed to God’s will and peacefully and quietly entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital, in Columbia, South Carolina. Born in Kershaw County, she accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Bingham Chapel AME Zion Church in Westville, South Carolina.
Hope (Ruth) was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Lewis Bracey, Sr. and Fletter M. Bracey; two sisters, Bernell Bracey and Fletter G. Bracey and one brother, Lewis Bracey, Jr.
Hope (Ruth) leaves to cherish her precious memories and celebrate her homegoing, her sisters, Lula M. Bracey and Minnie (Lucius) Carmichael both of Paterson, NJ, Carrie Bracey of Westville, SC and Bobby Fowler of Camden, SC; one niece; twelve nephews; one sister-in-law, Barbara Bracey of Lancaster, SC; three aunts; one uncle and a host of other relatives and friends.
