Samuel Keith Obituary

Mr. Samuel Elijah Keith was born to the late Willie Bill Keith and Rebecca Slater Keith.
   
Sam was educated in the Lee County Public School System.  He worked at Georgia Pacific for twenty plus years.  He retired from Foremost Pipeline Construction.

He was “Uncle Dad” to all his nieces and nephews.  A great community leader, cook and loved by many.

Mr. Keith was called to eternal rest on June 30, 2020, in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

Sam was preceded in death by his daughter, Jayden M. Keith; three sisters, Mattie Mae Keith Johnson, Birdie Bell Simon and  Margaret Keith; one brother, Earl Joe Keith.

Sam leaves to cherish his fond memories, one son, Eric Keith of San Diego, CA; four daughters, Machella (Travis) Mcconico of Manning, SC, Lukisha Keith of Columbia, SC, Erica Keith (Demarius  a.k.a. Mario) of Columbia, SC and Shanaya (Thomas a.k.a. CJ) Thames of Manning, SC; one sister, Minnie Davis of Washington, DC; three brothers, Willie, Aaron and Arthur Keith all of Maryland and  Harold Keith of Ohio; twenty-one grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a special thanks to his loving significant other, Lori Linthicome of Thomasville, NC, we appreciate your generosity, dedication and the time that you gave our father; two special friends, Marcellus (Shawn) Juggins and the mother of his children, Martha Ann Keith and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
