Aaron L. Simon

Aaron Leon Simon passed away  on Tuesday, Oct. 5th, 2021, at the age of 47. He was born September 22, 1974, in Lee County, South Carolina, to Lillie M. Simon and the late Eddie J. Simon.  He was raised in Bethune, South Carolina. 

He graduated from Bethune High School and worked there for over 30 years as a custodian, where he was affectionately known as Mr. Simon.

Aaron will be remembered for his kind smile and his willingness to help others when they were in need. He enjoyed spending time with his family, laughing and talking. His gentleness will truly be missed by those who knew and loved him. 
He is preceded by his father, Eddie J. Simon. 

He is survived by his mother, Lillie Simon; eight  brothers and sisters, Edward Simon, Barbara Simon-Toney, Marvin (Elouise) Simon, Theresa Smith, Tony Simon, Eddie T. Simon, Stephanie Simon, Felicia (Keith) Holmes; an aunt, Isabelle Woods, an uncle, Nathaniel (Sandra) King; fourteen nieces and nephews, nine grandnieces and grandnephews, and a host of cousins, other loved ones and friends.
