Alice B. Heriot

Obituary

Mrs. Alice Jeanett Heriot was born September 28, 1956, in Sumter County, South Carolina. Alice was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard S. Bennett.  She departed this life on February 8, 2022.

Alice was educated in the public schools of Lee County. She accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Pine Grove AME Church and sung with the Inspirational Choir and a devoted Voices of Praises member.  Alice was a loving a Wife, Mother, and Sister. 

She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara J. Richardson; two brothers Heyward and James Bennett.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Robert Heriot; two sons, Jeremiah and Kion Bennett (Camden, SC); four daughters, Wanda Bennett (Salisbury, NC) Latisha Billingsley (Rembert, SC) Robin and Beatrice Heriot (Camden, SC); seven grandchildren; Jamel, Jahmarie, Javontae, Jeremiah, Sydney, Syavannah, and Lyric; one great grandchild, Valaiyah Hall; four sisters; Earline (John) Graham, Shirley Stuckey, and Isabell McGill (Rembert, SC), Michelle Bennett (Washington, D.C.); two brothers, Richard (Sylvia) Bennett (Suffolk, VA) Rodney Bennett (Washington DC); four sisters-in-law, Berta, Lucille, Jannie, Hattie; one brother-in-law, James Graham,; special cousins: Lillian, Gladys, Ike, Frank end Marion. one god-daughter Shermashia Ransom and a host of  nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
