Carol Ransom Davis, daughter of the late Albert and Willie Mae Ransom and wife of the late Johnny Davis, was born February 1, 1952 and departed this life on February 9, 2021, at her residence.
Carol was raised in a loving Christian home; she attended the public schools of Sumter County. She worked for Sumter School District 2 at Rafting Creek Elementary as an administrative clerk for 15 years. Carol was a long-time member of Pine Grove AME Church. She loved the Lord and served in many roles within the church to include assistant church school superintendent, teacher of the women church school class, advisor of the Lay organization, and assistant class leader.
