On April 6, 2021 our beloved Carrol Carlane Lewis entered into eternal rest at Prisma Heart Centre at the age of 56.
Carrol " Carlane" Lewis was born to the late Hattie Bell and James Henry Lewis, Sr. on June 27, 1964. She was educated in the public schools of Kershaw County, where she played sports and loved jumping double dutch. Carrol became a member at Life in the Word Outreach Ministry in
2016 .
Carrol was an outgoing person and enjoyed cooking, listening to music, spending time with family and friends, And listening and open her door for anybody in need. She was loved and will be missed by all and open her door for anybody in need. She was loved and will be missed by all.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her husband of 36 years, Kenneth "Chubby Johnson; stepfather, Billy "Gene" Johnson, mother -in- law, Elizabeth Johnson; her children, Leteisha (Richard Tucker, Jr.) Lewis, Ashley Lewis, and Larry Lewis all of Camden, South Carolina, Felicia (Robert) Hunter of Sumter, South Carolina, Shondell (Delores) Ellis of Newark, Delaware; a grandson, she treated as her own, Markell "My Boy" Lewis; grandchildren, Raeshawn Jones, Destiny Tucker, Larreek Stradford, Malayaja Hall, Keith Stradford, Zamarion Lewis, Zavion Lewis all of Camden, South Carolina; Daquan Ellis and Shaylen Ellis of Newark, Delaware; five great grandchildren, Amir Lewis, Amara Lewis, London Jones and Kylie Jones, Kayleigh Stradford all of Camden, South Carolina; one sister, Barbara (Richard) Johnson of Columbia, South Carolina, for brothers, James Lewis of California, Marvin ( Marylene) Lewis of Lancaster, South Carolina, Christopher Ellis of Camden, South Carolina, Melvin Lewis of Baltimore, Maryland; a special daughter, Akebulan Client, best friend of 30 years, Lisa Workman; God children. Tanisha "Doonk' Monsanto Montell Addison, Marquis Workman, Orlandria Johnson, Yajaeh Harrell, Aiyannah Payne all of Camden, South Carolina; five sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other family and friends.
