Charles Edward Stover was called to Eternal Rest on Friday, December 4, 2020. He was born April 21, 1958, in Camden, South Carolina. His parents were the late Ruby Mae Missouri-Stover and Robert (Boy) Stover. Charles was considered by many a beautiful and caring soul that captured the hearts of those who encounter him.
Charles graduated from Camden High School in Camden, South Carolina. He was employed with a construction company, Cardinal Chemical Plant, the School District, as well as the Old Camden Primary School in South Carolina. He had a passion for gardening and a gift of bringing images to life through his skillful drawings. In addition, he had a love for animals, playing chess, and enjoying nature.
Charles began he his walk with the Lord at a young age. He joined Sweet Home Baptist church where he later accepted the Lord as his personal savior. He enjoyed singing and talking with family and friends about his love for Christ.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby and Robert Stover Sr., brothers Robert Stover Jr. and Selvyn Leroy Stover (Ann Stover) and sisters, Mamie Anderson and Geraldine Stover.
Mr. Charles leaves to cherish his memories, his two sons, Khlies Boykin and Issac (Henrietta) Boykin, both of Cassett, SC; daughter Tashia Boykin, of Lugoff, SC; two sisters Ruth Brown, of Columbia, SC and Rosetta (Green) Lucky, of Charlotte, NC; two brothers Michael Stover and Jerry Stover, both of Charlotte, NC; eight grandchildren, one great grand and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
