Christina A. Reid

Mrs. Christina Ann Reid, who loved to be called Cricket by close family members, was born on January 14, 1933, in Washington, DC, to the late Florence Hough and William Copeland.  She entered in eternal life on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at MUSC Kershaw Health Medical Center, in Camden, South Carolina.

Christina was raised in South Carolina and moved to New York City (Bronx), where she met and married the late Franklin Reid.

She was employed as a personal aide.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.  She was a avid learner and received a certificate from ATEC in Computer Science.

She leaves to mourn her passing one daughter, Gloria Ivery Coleman; three grandsons, Tresvant (Tàshia Boykin) Clark, DaVerbalus Clark and Jacobi Clark; her great-grandchildren, Nyre Clark and Terrance Clark, Tyler Clark, Jordan Clark and Allyssa Clark; and a host of sorrowing relatives includes  Margaret O. Fishburne and family, Phyllis (Vincent) Johnson and family, Richard Outen, Wilbert Outen Jr., Rosa L. Morris and Stella Copeland and Diane Copeland and a special thanks to Della Lyles for her unwavering support.
