Darryl Anthony Wilson, better known as “Big Daddy,” made his transition on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at his home with his loving wife at his side. He was born in Flint, Michigan on April 30, 1963, to Connie and Marcellus Wilson.
Darryl graduated from Northwestern High School in Flint, Michigan. He retired from DuPont, where he was a member of the Fire Brigade in Detriot, Michigan.
He enjoyed many sports including playing games on his PS4, fishing, music and coaching the children’s bowling league, winning many trophies even first place. He appreciated and loved spending quality time with his wife of many years, his daughter, grandchildren and his new son-in-law.
Darryl was preceded in death by his mother, Marcellus Wilson; his grandparents, a brother, Lonnie Weaver and a nephew, Donte Wilson, Sr.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his devoted wife, Virginia Wilson of the home; his father, Connie (Shelia) Wilson, Sr. of Flint, MI; one daughter, LaShaun (Shaun) Stamps of Detriot, MI; seven brothers, Chris (Lacelia) Dixon and Kenny Haire both of Mt. Morris, MI, Derrick Burris and Jason (Angel) Wilson both of Flint, MI, Dexter Wilson of Louisville, KY, Gregory Wells of Dallas, TX and Johntae (Katherine) Monge of Saginaw, MI; four sisters, Donielle Brown-Oladapo, Kimberly (Joseph) Williams and Vonselle Haire all of Flint, MI and Connie Sawadogo of Smyrna, TN; four grandchildren, Deshaun, Makala, Rachel and Dae’Johna and Rachel and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
