Deacon James Dow, Jr.

Deacon James Dow, Jr. was born on August 12, 1935, in Camden, South Carolina.  He was the son of the late James and  Louise Kelley Dow, Sr.  He was called to our Father on Friday, August 20, 2021, at his home, in Cassatt, South Carolina.

He was a member of Canty Hill Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.

James is survived three children, Mary L. (Joel, Sr.) Jefferson of Camden, South Carolina, Betty James Dow of Rembert, South Carolina and Tyrus James Dow of Cassatt, South Carolina; one brother, Larry Eugene Dow of Columbia, South Carolina; six sisters, Emma Jane Roary of Jacksonville, Florida, Dorothy Dow of Paterson, New Jersey, Shelly Dow, Mary D. Jackson, Almeta D. Knight and Joyce J. Dow all of Columbia, South Carolina; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
