Ervin Porter, Jr.

Ervin Porter, Jr., departed his earthly life on the 28th of June, 2021, in his sleep, surrounded by his loving family. He was born  on October 30, 1942, to the late Ervin Porter, Sr. and Addie Lee Good Porter.  

He received his education in the public schools of Kershaw County. He was a well known mechanic his community.  
     
Ervin was preceded in death by three brother, Willie Porter, Henry Porter and Isaac Porter; two sisters, Bessie Mae Simon and Margaret Ann Porter and three sisters-in-law, Annie McCray Porter, Ella Mae Rembert Porter and Bernice Dixon Porter.  

He leaves to cherish his fond memories children of the heart, Dorothy Doyle, Bertha Prescott, Ricky Prescott and Cliffton Prescott; four brothers, Albert (Freda) Porter, Linden Porter, Robert (Elizabeth) Porter and Luther Porter; four sisters, Sarah Porter Fennell, Heneritta (John T.) McCray, Gloria Jean Porter and Louise Porter; a maternal aunt, Clara McCrorey and a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
