Mrs. Frances Yvette Seegars, also known as “Frannie” by close friends and relatives, was born on October 24, 1961, in Camden, South Carolina. She was the youngest child of Franklin D. Roosevelt Blair and Willie Esther Willis Blair. She grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, in which she considers home. She later married and moved to Bethune, South Carolina. She worked in management during her earlier years. She then decided to become a housewife and specialize in what she was most passionate about: raising her 7 beautiful children. As the youngest sibling, she cherished having her only two brothers as well as the love and undue consideration they showed her.
Frances’ compassion for others was one her strongest qualities. She always saw the positive, even under trying circumstances. She truly enjoyed decorating, planting flowers, poetry, singing, and dancing. A highlight of her life was the annual celebration of her wedding anniversary. She and her husband, of 33 years, always found a way to celebrate along with their children. She was an exceptionally nurturing mother that always sought out ways to inculcate values in her children.
She was delighted to dedicate her life to Jehovah in 2007 and remained a faithful servant for 14 years. She attended the Camden East Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She held close the hope of the resurrection and joyfully shared that with others, to include her precious family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin D. Roosevelt Blair and Willie Esther Willis Blair.
