James Jenkins

Mr. James Leroy Jenkins was born on July 29, 1934, in Sumter County, South Carolina.  He was the oldest son of the late Ebenezer Jenkins and Rebecca Rhodes Jenkins.  James had a long an beautiful life.  He departed this life on May 12, 2025.

James joined Union Baptist Church, where he served on the Usher Board for a while. James worked at Camden Builders Supply for thirty-eight years.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Ebenezer and Rebecca Jenkins; his brothers, Martin (Buster) Jenkins, Heyward Jenkins and Johnnie Jenkins and his sisters, Mary Jones and Martha Mintze.
  
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, James Jenkins, Jr. of Rembert, SC; one brother, Samuel Jenkins (Almeta Jenkins) of  Rembert, SC; a special thanks and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
