Jeffery Hodari Butler

Jeffrey Hodari Butler was the son of the late John Wesley Butler and Hazel V. Butler. He was born in New London, Connecticut on April 23, 1962 and departed this life on June 26, 2020.

Jeffrey graduated from Tolland High School, Tolland, Connecticut.  He attended Howard University in Washington, DC after which he enlisted in the United States Army where he served several years in Germany.   While serving his country in Germany, he continued his education at the University of Maryland.

After his time in service,  Jeffrey returned to Connecticut where he worked at various companies as well as working as a caregiver for a Healthcare Facility.

He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Butler. Two grandmothers, Annie Roach and Mary Lucille Hicks.  Two grandfathers, Jerry Roach and Harold Lee Hicks.

He leaves to mourn his mother, Hazel V. Butler of Raleigh, NC; Three sisters, Kwanza R. Butler, Sana H. Butler, Sheria  L. Butler all of New York and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
