Jeffery Dallas Huggins

Jeffery Dallas Huggins the 8th child of Moses James and Flora Mae Dials Huggins  was born on August 11, 1962. He peacefully transitioned from this life to walk the streets of Glory to his eternal rest on September 12, 2023

Jeffery was born and raised in Bishopville, South Carolina where he received his formal education at Bishopville High School where he was a star basketball player leading the Dragons to a state championship graduating in the class of 1980.

Jeffery went on to join the United States Air Force where he served and was honorably discharged. After serving his country, Jeffery relocated to Miami Florida where he was employed with Miami-Dade County Hospital for many years. Jeffery then relocated back to South Carolina living between Lucknow and Camden. He was later  employed with Truesdale Construction until his health declined.

Jeffery grew up in a loving and Christian home attending Sandy Grove United Methodist Church of Lamar with his parents at a young age. Jeffery became a faithful member of The Household of Faith Holiness Church in Camden S.C. Jeffery loved his church and diligently served in various capacities. Jeffery’s faithful works and service to the Lord was shown wherever he went. Jeffery had a great smile and greeted everyone with the goodness of the Lord.

Jeffery was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Moses Huggins Jr., Reverend Ronnie Huggins and Terry Huggins.

Those left to cherish his fond memories are two sons, Michael Huggins of Miami, FL and Dallas Huggins of Camden, SC; his siblings Irene (Leroy) Reames of Camden SC, Charles (Lynn) Huggins of Jacksonville, FL, Virginia (Eddie) Fisher of Bishopville, SC, Donnie Huggins of Bishopville SC and Cynthia Huggins of Camden, SC; two stepbrothers, Michael (Cassandra) Legrant of Charlotte, NC and Marvin (Darlene) Legrant of Lynchburg, SC; his adopted family who he loved dearly, Sylvia Marshall, Gayle(Aundra)Kennedy, Brother Willie(Minnie)Marshall and Huron Marshall; a bonus brother, Henry Cook; four grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
