Johnny Blair Obituary

Mr. Johnny Edward Blair was born on July 30, 1932, in Kershaw County, South Carolina, to the late Johnny James and Almeter Cruel Blair.  He entered into eternal rest on February 5, 2020, at Kershaw Health Medical Center, in Camden, South Carolina.

Mr. Blair was a quiet and loving person with a kind word and smile for all whom he came in contact with.  And oh, that laugh!  He was lovingly called Mr. B, Mr. Boy, Frog, Daddy, Granddaddy and the Great Uncle Boy.

He attended the public schools of Kershaw County and worked as a farmer and logger in his earlier years.  When he was able, he loved going to baseball games.

Johnny was preceded in death by his first wife, Amanda Mae Blair; his second wife, Roxie Blair; a daughter, Carolyn Hunter; three sisters, Viola Blair, Gloria Truesdale and Ida Bell Stokes; three brothers, Frank Blair, Archie Blair and Richard Blair.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Johnny (Rhonda) Blair, Jr. of New Jersey, Douglas (Debra) Blair of Kentucky, Larry (Shirley) Blair, Sylvester Blair, Leo Blair and Linda Dunham all of Camden, SC; three sisters, Leslie (Henry) Jefferson, Susie (Ralph) Furman and Betty Frazier; one sister-in-law, Doris Blair; a special love to all nine grandchildren, Jamiyan, Von, Vans, Katrina, Johnathan, Leona, Alexis, Amanda and Lance; six great-grandchildren, Kayshia, Cam, Tank, Amir, Kenna and Mori and to all my nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, Thank You for all the times you stopped by just to say Hello!
