Mary Jane Stuckey Wilson was born on December 15, 1933, in Lee County, South Carolina. On July 29, 2025, she transitioned peacefully at her home, surrounded by her children.
She received her education in the Lee County Public Schools. Mary Jane accepted Christ at an early age. She became a member of Pine Grove AME Church and served on the Usher Board. She was also a Missionary member for many years. She was a dedicated member until her health prevented her from attending regularly.
Mary Jane was married to the late Walker Wilson, Sr., and from this union, eight children were born.
She was preceded in death by her son, Herbert Lee Wilson; two sisters, Gertrude Murray and Ethel White and one granddaughter, Laura Ann Wilson.
Mary Jane leaves to cherish her loving memories, seven children, Karen Wilson, Cathy Wilson, Booker T. Wilson, David Wilson, Walker Wilson, Jr., Ryan (Monica) Wilson and Mary Halley; two god-children, Garfield Glover and Arthur Glover both of Camden, SC; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
