Nathaniel Glover was the fifth child of nine children born to the late Malachi Glover Sr. and Amanda Fletcher Glover on
February 15, 1937, in Sumter County, South Carolina. Nathaniel departed this life on Sunday, February 14, 2021.
Nate lived in Rembert, South Carolina, where he attended Union School in Rembert, South Carolina. Nate attended Union Baptist Church in Rembert until he relocated to Florida, where he resided until moving to New York, Rhode Island and settling down in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area.
Nate was preceded in death by his children, twins, Michael and Michelle, one step daughter, Laverne Jefferson, two
brothers, Paul Glover, Sr. and Leroy Glover and three sisters, Ella B. Bennett, Inez Burkett and Lula M. Gary.
He leaves to cherish his memory, one brother, Malachi Glover ( Dorothy) of Washington, DC; two sisters, Alma L. Alston and Amanda L. Glover both of Washington, DC; two aunts, Mary Johnson of Miami, FL and Bishop Minnie Crawford of Plainfield, NJ and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
