Robert Salmond entered into Eternal Rest on Friday, June 12, 2020. He was born July 2, 1988, in Camden, to Easter V. Salmond and Carlos Gary.
Robert was raised in a loving and religious home by his maternal grandmother, Easter Salmond. He was a member of Broom Hill Baptist Church.
Robert loved school and video tapes. His favorite movie was “Grease.”
Robert is survived by his parents, Easter Slater and Carlos Gary; his maternal grandparents, Easter and Leon Salmond; siblings, Nancy Salmond, Marceles Gary, Martea Gary, Porcha Gary, and Willie Gary; stepmother, Doranda Gary; stepfather, Bernard Slater; uncles, Isaac Salmond, Leon Salmond, and John Gary; aunts, Betty Wilder, Jannie Mae Jenkins, Alice Kershaw, Jeannett Alston, Margo Mathis, Karen Waddy, Mildred Thompson, and Linda Mobley, his caregivers, Carolyn Salmond and Pamela Hollmon; one special cousin, Nikki Kershaw, and many grandaunts and grand uncles, cousins, other relatives and people involved in his education and health services.
