Ronald Allen Wactor, was born July 6, 1962, to the late Grover Cleveland Wactor Sr. and Mary Frances Butler Wactor. Ronald Allen Wactor, transitioned to his spiritual journey on Wednesday January 8, 2025, in Anderson, South Carolina.
Ronald Allen Wactor attended the public schools of Sumter County. He was a 1980 graduate of Hillcrest High School in Dalzell, South Carolina. He furthered his education at Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina.
At an early age, he joined Mt. Olive AME Church, where he was a member of the church choir until his illness. He loved to attend gospel concerts. He was a genuine and caring son, brother, and uncle. He was well respected and loved by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories, one sister, Mable Carter Floyd of Woodrow, SC; four brothers, Grover Jr. (Barbara) Wactor of Rembert, SC, Bruce (Smiley Spratt-Wactor) Wactor of Lancaster, SC, Arthur Wactor and Reginald Wactor both of Dalzell, SC; three nieces, Deidre (Jonathan) Thomas of Columbia, SC, Sonji Wactor of Camden, SC and Keosha (James) Murray of Cassatt, SC; five nephews, Michael Floyd, Kevin Floyd, Dorrell Floyd all of Sumter, SC, Rodney Wactor of Camden, SC and Shaquille Wactor of Columbia, SC and a host of grand nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
