Mrs. Rose Annie Washington was born on May 28, 1951, in Camden, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Laura Jane Smith Murphy and the late Daniel Lee Murphy. She was also the sister to Vivian Murphy Brevard and the late Dannette Marie Murphy. Rose received her wings on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at the wise old age of seventy-one.
Rose received her education in Kershaw County at Jackson High School, where she graduated with her class in 1969. She entered into the workforce working for a few different companies including Skyline. She worked as a material sorter until she became a housewife and a mother, which she was until she was called home to be with the Lord.
Rose lived to learn in order to learn to live. She loved life from friends to family, from being a feisty young woman to being a God-fearing virtuous lady, wife and mother. She enjoyed everything life had to offer. From being a daughter and a sister, to having a husband, children and grandchildren, a complete life she truly did have.
Rose a member of the Order of Eastern Stars, were she was a faithful member for at least fifty years. She was also a faithful member of St. Paul United Methodist Church for over fifty years. This church is where she continued her guidance to the Lord after giving her life to Christ at an early age.
