Sammie Lee Frazier eternally entered the presence or our Sovereign God on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, in Canton, Michigan. Sammie was born on February 24, 1945, to the late Sam and Naomi Stuckey. She was the oldest of five.
After graduating from Jackson High School in 1963, she moved to New York City and then she moved to Brooklyn, New York, where she met and married Ernie Frazier in 1972. She was a devoted wife for forty-nine years. She followed her husband to different states as better opportunities opened on his job.
While in Pittsburgh, Sammie established her own business Tips and Toes Nail Salon. After moving to Canton, Michigan, she joined New Hope Baptist Church in Wayne, Michigan where she served on the Senior Choir and Praise Dance Team.
While in Canton, she began working at Northwest/Delta Airlines there she held my positions. She enjoyed traveling to many countries while working there. She met many people of different nationalities. She retired in 2014. Her passions were shopping and golf.
She was preceded in death by one son, Gary and three brothers, Bill, Larry, Bobby.
Sammie leaves to cherish her memories husband, Ernie; one sister, Betty (Jimmy); one son, Vernon of Ohio; five grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Nita, Zina and Jackie and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends
