Susie Watkins

Mrs. Susie Mae Watkins, was born on March 14, 1949.  She was the daughter of Charlie and Gertrude Butler and the wife of Mr. Joe H. Watkins, Sr.   She entered into eternal life on Monday, July 12, 2021, at her home.

Mrs. Susie was an extraordinary woman with love, a smile and humor for all she came in contact with. She only had two biological children, but helped raise hundreds of children from New Jersey to South Carolina.  She was a wonderful human being, a fantastic friend and the greatest mother to walk on this good Earth.
  
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert Pernell Watkins and one sister, Elizabeth Butler.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Mr. Joe Watkins, Sr.; a son, Mr. Joe Watkins, Jr.; three grandchildren, Robert Pernell Watkins, II, Michelle Aryana Watkins, and Joe Watkins, III; three brothers, Charlie Butler, Jr., William Butler and Robert Butler; three sisters, Catherine,  Diane and Sonya and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
