Valerie Michelle Thomas

Miss Valerie  "Val" Michelle Thomas departed this life on October 17, 2024, after a brief illness.  Val was born in  New Rochelle, New York on March 20, 1967, to Mrs. Christine Carlos and the late William Carlos.  She was educated in the New York School System and attended business school.  She became an accountant and is the mother of Willie Wimbush. She is also the proud grandmother of Milo Reed. She doted on her niece Teja and nephew Jashawn Thomas.

Val, enjoyed cruising, listening to music,  hanging out with her family and friends, she also loved the cooking channel, and often shared her creations.  Valerie was predeceased by her Pop E and sister Marilyn...oh how she loved them.

Valerie left behind, her loving Mother Christine, brother Avery Reddick and sisters Yvette Colon and Sharon (Arthur) Davis, Aunt Mary E. Washington of Camden, Elizabeth, Thomas of Richland, Georgia and Sarah Latimer of Wetumpka, Alabama. Great nephews Raymond and Ra’qun Gordon.  She also left a host of special cousins;  Dewayne Chester, Theresa, Jerry, Kenneth and William Latimer, Faye, Arnold and Edmund Williams, Willie(Val), Michael,  Marc. Marcus, Lenard Mathis and Sylvia Lawson.  She has loads of extended family and friends. Special note, thank you Twanda ‘Mo’ Macklin for being a special friend.  She departed with so many dear friends, neighbors a d co-workers.
