Virgil “Fuzzy” Reynolds was born on April 14, 1941, in Boykin, South Carolina, to the late John Edward Reynolds and Josephine Barnes Reynolds. He passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at the KershawHealth Medical Center.
Fuzzy attended Jackson High School in Camden, South Carolina. He was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church where he was a member of the United Methodist Men Choir and the United Methodist Trustees.
He served in the U. S. Army from 1966 to 1968. Fuzzy worked for over 30 years with the Suitt Construction Company. For social time, he enjoyed fishing, having cookouts, and special celebrations with family members and friends. In 1981, he married Betty Reynolds of Camden, SC, who passed in 2008. He later married Alene Copeland of Pocomoke City, Maryland.
He leaves to cherish his memories a brother, John Reynolds (Ruth, predeceased) of Brooklyn, NY; his step-children, Anthony Bradford of Camden, SC and Eliza Hall of Sumter, SC; his sisters-in-law, Willie Mae Clyburn (Clyde, predeceased) and Mary Ella Goodwin (Robert) both of Camden, SC; his brother-in-law, Samuel Adams (Vanessa) of Camden, SC; a special companion, Yvonne Workman of Camden, SC and a host of step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
