Walter Major Obituary
The sun rose and the world became a little brighter when Walter Lorenzo Major was welcomed on May 24, 1932. He was the son of the late Inez Major. He entered into eternal rest on August 18, 2021, in Columbia, South Carolina. Walter lived a very spiritual life filled with joy and kindness. He retired from Kershaw County Medical Center. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
Walter was predeceased by his lovely wife of over 50 years, Barbara Major and his brother, Alfred Major.
He is survived by his son Sean Lorenzo Major; two granddaughters, Deonna Latriese Hawkins and Saryiah Labrynn Wince and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
