Willie James Mickle, Sr.

Mr. Willie James Mickle, Sr. was born February 7th, 1944, in Camden, South Carolina, to Connie Mae Butler and Johnny Murphy.

Mr. Mickle was employed with Davis Printing Company from 1956 until 2020.  He enjoyed working there and loved his work family. 

Mr. Mickle was preceded in death by his parents Connie Mae Butler and Johnny Murphy; his wife, Ruth Mickle; a son, Willie Mickle, Jr.;  two sisters, Mary Mickle-Harris and Geneva Butler.

Mr. Mickle is survived by his daughters, Mary (Troy) Mickle of Camden, SC, Cynthia (Jonathan) Greene of Ellenwood, Ga and Tonya Carlos of Camden, SC; two sons, Thomas Provard, Sr. and Donnell Green both of Camden, SC; a sister, Martha (Robert) Sumpter of Camden, SC; a brother, Clarence Butler of New York; a special niece, Betty Ann (Ricky) Anthony of Lugoff, SC; his grandchildren, Davon Mickle, Deonica Miller, Jonas Greene, Thomas Provard, Jr., Briona Greene, Nicole Smith, Shaneisa Bethel, Robin Provard, Deion Provard, Christopher Duncan, Janette Haile, Tavia Carlos and Philip Wright; a special great-niece, Renee Mitchell; twenty-four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
