Willie "Oldman" Mitchell

Mr. Willie Mitchell “Oldman,” son of the late Mr. Ollie James Mitchell and the late Jessie Mae Mitchell, was born in Kershaw County, South Carolina, on January 6, 1953 and entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 20, 2019, at Baptist Medical Center.
    
Willie attended the public schools in Kershaw County and was a member of High Hill Baptist Church.
   
Willie was preceded in death by two sisters, Hattie Crim and Maxine Johnson; two brothers, Jessie James Mitchell and Herbert Mitchell and a step-daughter, Erica Carter.
   
He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory and celebrate his homegoing are his wife, Linda C. Mitchell of Lugoff, SC; two daughters, Shamika Mitchell and Shon Mitchell both of New York; one son, Travis Mitchell of Lugoff, SC; three grandsons; his sisters, Betty Samuel of Charlotte, NC, Ollie M. (William) Johnson of Cassatt, SC and Juanita Johnson of Lugoff, SC; one brother, Robert (Catherine) Mitchell of Lugoff, SC, brothers-in-law, George Johnson of Lugoff, SC and James Smith of Bishopville, SC; his sisters-in-law, Elvira Carter, Iris Sam and Marylee Hall all of Bishopville, SC and a host of  niece, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
