Yvette Gwayne Williams was born in Camden, South Carolina on May 11, 1955. She was the daughter of the late Ernestine Wiggins and the granddaughter of the late George and Rebecca Williams. She entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 4, 2020, at Prisma Health at Richland Memorial Hospital.
During her early years she attended the Kershaw County Activity Center. She was later a resident at Midlands Center of Columbia, SC prior to transferring to Babcock Center at Osprey House until her death.
Yvette loved to collect books with pictures of houses and cars. She spoke often of moving to a new house and stated everybody could live with her.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories; two sisters; Vernessa (William) Cook of Camden, South Carolina and Robin Lofton of Yonkers, New York; two brothers; George Williams of Greenville, North Carolina and Milton Wiggins of Homestead, Florida. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and a very nurturing caregiver; Tracey Ervin, the House Manager at Osprey House.
